I’m going to bed “early” tonight. I’ll be at game four, so expect lots of crappy pics from my phone and hopefully some much better ones from my camera when I get back. I’m far too tired to even attempt to describe how crazy this is, and by crazy I mean aflgjalkgjdlsafgaslkgjroianvkzlvira.

OH SHI-
I have to be at work in five hours. I guess I’ll go to sleep now. I’m not breaking any records (even for me), but I have a feeling I’m going to need all the rest I can get to feel less like…
A walked in run is better than a double that scores two…

Which is as bizarre a decision as one can make. The fact of the matter is that Vladimir Guerrero looked more like Vlad the Impaler as he butchered almost any ball that came his way last night. And at this point in his career, Vlad’s bat isn’t strong enough to make up for any defensive deficiency, much less every shortcoming.
Ron Washington has a good reputation as a...

No big deal, we've got it tomorrow.
This well-fed post outgrew what I’ll normally allow myself to put in a single text post. My game one thoughts after the break.
Giants played a good game tonight. I’m not gonna lie and say that I wasn’t getting a little annoyed by Sanchez and his 438975982475842 doubles. Way to break a record and everything, but jeez.
As much as I love Vladdy, it makes me so nervous to see him...

Old Time Family Baseball: 13 →
oldtimefamilybaseball:
Consecutive World Series called by Joe Buck, setting a record and bypassing Curt Gowdy and the God of All Baseball, Vin Scully.
While Buck is a decent enough broadcaster I suppose, but even Buck knows he’s no Scully. Says Buck about the record:
“It means that FOX has a lot of money….
Joe Buck. If there’s anyone who can call a game and make it sound like...

splitfinger replied to your post: Highest score on Galaga?
Was this at an arcade or at home?
This was an arcade game at a local movie theater. I haven’t found a combination of console port/emulator and controller that has the right feel to it yet.
splitfinger-deactivated20101105 asked: Highest score on Galaga?
Anonymous asked: how old were you when you lost your virginity?

I'm not making this up.
Last night I had a nightmare about furbies, sort of. I was at my mom’s house, and I walked outside to find the patio filled with these things. Think of a furby, only actually alive. Now, take that, put human teeth on it, give it mange, put it in its carboard furby packaging, and you’re getting close. These things are making sounds like they’re either dying or want to kill you....

It is. I’m bored and trying to be a better Stars fan. I’m still in the idiot phase.
ooh. well, you’ve got Ralph and Razor guiding you through the games, which is a HUGE plus. and hockey’s really not complicated, even if it seems like it might be. and…well. the Stars are a fun team? XD
I came in from outside to a 1-1...
My cousin’s about to have a baby any hour/day now. She and her husband are awesome because during family gatherings, we can all talk about baseball and get a little more in depth than “Did they win?”. Naturally, we’re all Rangers fanatics.
This morning as I was getting ready for work, I randomly thought about Talladega Nights and how Ricky Bobby’s kids are named...

Wrong on every account. The Mitch Moreland vs. Mark Teixeira part is especially funny. I might have left a comment. lulz
Josh Hamilton just put Lou Gehrig to shame.

7th inning thoughts...
1) Okay, so it’s been proven that a 5 run lead in the 8th can be turned around. We’re “only” down by four. The game’s not over.
2) For the next 2.5 innings, everyone should be focusing on not doing anything to get injured. If anything else is going to go wrong, it might as well be in this game.
3) Instead of walking A-Rod, save some pitches and just hit him....
Hey Yankees... Molina, mo' problems lol
I now understand why Yankee fans enjoy Game 1's...
Payback’s a bitch.
