Can Sportswriters Be Replaced by Software?

newsweek:

Today in hedlines to which Bloomberg fervently hopes the answer is “Yes, Yes, Yes!”

If sportswriters can be replaced by a program, could we do something about ESPN? That, or at least have someone say “Hey guys, come up with synonyms for the word upset (n) and use those as well! Thanks!”
